As Athens deals with the political turmoil of their state postwar with Sparta, the god of wine and theater, Dionysos, goes on a quest with his servant Xanthias to bring back the recently deceased playwright, "The Old Taylor Swift", from Hades. Once arriving in Hades, Dionysos is faced with a decision to either choose Taylor Swift or Ella Fitzgerald to bring back to Athens. The confliction over whose artistry is needed more back in the real world sparks a battle of song and wit that uncovers more than Dionysus could've ever predicted...
